On July 6th, 2020, our firm filed an application to be authorized to bring a class action against Canada Post. This application seeks to obtain a compensation for our client, as well for all persons who paid for accelerated delivery service offered by Canada Post since March 14th, 2020 for Canada Post failed to meet the guaranteed delivery deadline.
Our client’s story
Our client sent an important package to her mother for her birthday on June 9th, 2020. She paid for the Xpresspost™ service, with the guaranteed delivery date being the next day. However, her package got delivered only on July 10th, 2020.
Our client suffered many damages due to the delivery delay, including a lot of anger and frustration, as well as several hours spent on tracking her package online and contacting Canada Post’s customer service.
